Big kids away, tots will play
My older child started kindergarten last year, leaving her younger brother without his favorite playmate. Our family is also now beholden to the school schedule. So my son and I still go on all our adventures — and I may plan an outdoor playdate so he can practice his social skills — but we always need to be home by the time school lets out.
